So What's Pouring? Good Looking?
Welcome to Day 3 of Cocktails & Core! If you missed yesterday recipe make sure to check it out here. Each day we'll be blending two of our favorite things to do, fitness and recipes. I will provide a new health conscious cocktail and the core movements that my girls deliver to you will have you snatched and ready to step out!
This third recipe is a mouthwatering cocktail made with peach wine, limeade, bacardi rum and garnished with sage and ginger.
Peach Ginger Snap
Ingredients
1 oz shot limeade
1 oz shot ginger brew
2 shots peach sparkling wine
1 oz bacardi Rum
Garnish
sage
ginger
Instruction
Pour all ingredients into a shaker tin, shake until smooth, pour into two glasses and garnish with sage and ginger
Core Work
Now that we've earned our drink for the Day , it's time to burn it! Today's secret ingredient is @EllyeWell of @Team3xt. Ellye is coming at you with yoga movements. Her featured core movement is called Utkatasana.
Utkatasana - Chair Pose, is a standing asana in modern yoga as exercise. It was a low squatting asana in medieval hatha yoga
bring your feet parallel hip distance apart. bring your cocktail as well, arms out in front of you, lift those heels nice and high.
slowly sit into a chair pose. take your booty back and down. If you can lift those heels as high as you can and take it as low as you can manage.
hold for a couple breaths keep lifting those inner ankles and keep balancing your weight nice and centered take a sip. Exhale super slow and stand up nice and tall
