So What's Pouring? Good Looking?
Welcome to Day 2 of Cocktails & Core! If you missed yesterday recipe make sure to check it out here. Each day we'll be blending two of our favorite things to do, fitness and recipes. I will provide a new health conscious cocktail and the core movements that my girls deliver to you will have you snatched and ready to step out!
This second recipe is a succulent martini made with kombucha, watermelon soda and vodka. Those simple ingredients create a pleasant kick while adding some probiotics and antioxidants to it.
When the weather outside is frightful drink something delightful!
Tropical Watermelon Martini

Ingredients
serves 2
3 oz shots kombucha
2 oz shots watermelon sparkling soda
1 oz shot vodka
Instructions
Pour all ingredients into a shaker tin, shake until smoothly blinded. Pour evenly into two martini glasses.
Core Work
Now that we've earned our drink, it's time to burn it! Today's secret ingredient is @MissAlexKaye Co Founder of @Team3xt. Alex is coming at you with yoga movements. Her featured core movement called Floating Stick Pose.
Floating Stick Pose requires core and arm strength, but the real key to floating above the earth involves unlocking energy flows through the feet, legs, and spine.
Ground yourself, flex through the foot, feel the connection from the calves the backs of the legs and the upper hamstrings.
Bring the ribcage in, tighten the core, bring the naval to the spine with out slouching.
Press your arms down into the mat beneath you, raise one leg and then the next, and once you're ready bring your feet together, press into the heels and bring your gluts up and if you want to take it up a notch raise both legs.
